Childcare First Aid training in Liverpool

Liverpool has one of the highest rates of returning students in the network — many book their CPR renewal here every 12 months with the same trainer, Nola, who's taught long enough to remember regulars by name. The centre covers all three HLTAID units and holds a 4.9★ rating.

What students say about our Liverpool centre

This is my second time undertaking a first aid course, and I found this session significantly more effective in both learning and practical application. Nora was outstanding, she delivered the content in a clear and accessible manner, making complex skills appear simple. She was also patient, supportive and highly understanding throughout the training.

I completed my First Aid course at CBD College, and this is my third time training with them. All of my training has been at the Liverpool branch, and each time the experience has been excellent. CBD College is very professional and provides high-quality training that is great value for money. A special thank you to NOLA for teaching us — your teaching style was amazing, clear and engaging. Highly recommend CBD College.

Childcare First Aid in Liverpool — FAQ

Where is Childcare First Aid training held in Liverpool?

How much is Childcare First Aid in Liverpool?

Childcare First Aid from $115. See the live dates above for exact pricing and to book online.

How do I get to the Liverpool centre?

Comfortable, practical clothing is recommended — you'll be on the floor practising CPR compressions for part of the session. The centre sits near Liverpool's train and bus interchange, with paid parking close by.

Does this certificate work outside the state I train in?

Yes — as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91399), the statement of attainment is recognised anywhere in Australia. You'll need a USI before it can be issued, which takes a couple of minutes to set up free at usi.gov.au if you don't have one already.

Is this different from the standard first aid certificate?

It's built on top of it. HLTAID012 includes everything in HLTAID009/010/011 plus content specific to infants and young children — anaphylaxis, asthma, febrile convulsions and the emergencies more common in care settings — which is what ACECQA's National Quality Framework specifically requires for education and care staff.

What scenarios does the child-specific content cover?

Beyond standard CPR and first aid, expect practical work on managing anaphylaxis and asthma episodes in children, recognising febrile convulsions, and responding to the kinds of incidents that come up in early childhood settings specifically.

How often does an educator need to renew this?

As a general pattern, the first aid component is renewed roughly every 3 years and CPR every 12 months — but always check your specific service's policy and ACECQA's current requirements rather than assuming.

Is there pre-course work before the face-to-face day?

Yes — a short online module first, so class time goes almost entirely to hands-on practice rather than theory.

Can you match a competitor's advertised price?

If you find the same unit of competency advertised cheaper by another RTO, submit it through our price match page and we'll do our best to match it with a discount code for booking.
